திண்டுக்கல் : கணவர், அவரது குடும்பத்தார் என்னையும்,எனது குழந்தையையும் வற்புறுத்தி மதமாற்றம் செய்து விட்டனர் என பெண் ஒருவர் திண்டுக்கல் எஸ்.பி., முத்துச்சாமியிடம் புகார் அளித்துள்ளார்.
திண்டுக்கல் மாவட்டம் சீலப்பாடியைச் சேர்ந்தவர் கலாராணி. இவர் திண்டுக்கல் எஸ்.பி., அலுவலகத்தில் கொடுத்த மனுவில் கூறியிருப்பதாவது: எனது கணவர் ஜோசப் ரெட்சகநாதன். கணவர் குடும்பத்தார் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள். நான் இந்து மதத்தை சேர்ந்தவள். எனது கணவர் 21.09.2000ம்தேதி இந்துவாக மதம்மாறி இடைநிலை ஆசிரியர் பணி பெற்றார். அரசு சலுகை பெறுவதற்காக 2004 பிப்ரவரி 8ம் தேதி ஜம்புளியம்பட்டி நாகம்மாள் கோயிலில், என்னை அவரது குடும்பத்தார் முன்னிலையில் திருமணம் செய்தார். அந்த கோயிலில் திருமண சான்று, ரசீது எதுவும் தராததால், மறுபடியும் வி.எம்.ஆர். பட்டி காளியம்மன் கோயிலில் 26.4.2004ம் தேதி திருமணம் செய்தார். பின்னர் எனது மாமியார் அடைக்கலமேரி, மாமனார் செபஸ்தியான், கொழுந்தனார் சிரில்ராஜ், நாத்தனார் ஜெயந்தி உட்பட பலர் என்னிடம், நாங்கள் பரம்பரை கிறிஸ்தவர்கள், வேலை, அரசு சலுகைக்காகத்தான் இந்து மதத்திற்கு மாறினோம் என்றும் கூறினர்.
நீ எங்கள் குடும்பத்தில் வாழ வேண்டுமானால் கிறிஸ்தவ மதத்திற்கு மாற வேண்டும். இல்லாவிட்டால் உனது கணவருக்கு வேறு திருமணம் செய்து விடுவோம் என மிரட்டி என்னையும், குழந்தையையும் 22.6.2004ம் தேதி கிறிஸ்தவ மதத்திற்கு மாற்றினர். பின்பு மீண்டும் எனது கணவருக்கும்,எனக்கும் 26.6.2006ல் மரியநாதபுரத்திலுள்ள விண்ணேற்பு அன்னை ஆலயத்தில்,அவரது குடும்பத்தார் முன்னிலையில் திருமணம் நடந்தது. என்னையும், குழந்தையையும் வற்புறுத்தி,கட்டாய மதமாற்றம் செய்ததால் எனக்கு மன உளைச்சல் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. இதனால் எனது கணவர் ஜோசப் ரெட்சகநாதன், மாமியார், மாமனார் உட்பட அவர்களின் உறவினர் மீது நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டும் என்று கூறியுள்ளார். இந்த மனு குறித்து கூடுதல் எஸ்.பி., பொன் சிவானந்தம் விசாரிக்க எஸ்.பி., முத்துச்சாமி உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளார்.

LUCKNOW: The Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court has stressed the need to end reservation, saying that its continuation is dividing society and poses the greatest threat to national integrity.
The Bench, comprising Justice Devi Prasad Singh and Justice V D Chaturvedi, on Friday nullified the Uttar Pradesh government policy under which one of the two posts of chief engineer in the Irrigation Department was being filled through reservation.The Bench also nullified the government decision of August 27 last by which Chief Engineer, Design and Planning, was appointed under reservation policy “in contravention of the existing constitutional provisions.’’ Referring to the victory of Barack Obama in the US presidential election, the Bench said politicians in India were continuing the policy of reservation by seeking votes in name of caste, community and religion even though the most powerful country has proved the wisdom otherwise.
The Bench said the Supreme Court had emphasised that the reservation system must be reviewed in five years and stopped once it seems to have served its purpose of helping raise the social status of those considered untouchable and backward, but no government or politician had taken note of the same.
The Bench said the British had by way of proportional representation, the “first form of reservation”, ensured that the country was divided at the time of Independence.“The present form of reservation had the potential of further dividing the country,” the Bench observed.Pointing to historical research, the Bench said the ancient law giver Manu had not envisioned division of labour on the basis of caste, but “vested interests” had later given certain objectionable interpretations to Manusmriti.
